Lori Bothwell

Lori Bothwell is an elementary school teacher and has taught grades 1-4 as well as Jr.  High Language Arts.  She is a versatile teacher who loves kids and has taught several subject areas and some favorites have been Language Arts and Physical Education. She is also a RYT and has taught both adults and kids and loves the yoga for kids program she taught at the Talisman Centre in 2007-2010. Lori is passionate about Hoopdance, an art form of free form of dance combined with hula hooping.  She discovered this art form while watching other woman hula hooping.  Lori found a mentor and has taken Hoopdance classes with her teacher and mentor, Kelly Janes of Hoop-Di-Doo for 3 years.   “For me Hoopdance is pure joy.  I can spend hours with my hoop and it relieves stress and keeps me in great shape.  I love sharing hula hooping with new people and children, so everyone can smile and have some fun.”  She has taught a group of teachers an HPEC workshop and aspires to combine her love of yoga and hooping together in classes and workshops.  Lori has been a medium and pet and angel card reader, since 2009 when she worked out of Our Angels Marda Loop.  She continues to do private readings or Reiki treatments out of her home. In her spare time, Lori loves writing about spirituality and education, and is currently working on more novel writing.  She is aspiring to become a published author.
